Deep Dish Wheels

Deep Dish Wheels A member is selling some black Torq Thrusts with chrome/polished lip, 17x9 in the front and 17x10.5 deep dish in the back. I am talking to him about buying them next week but I know nothing about deep dish wheels. I plan on running 275/40R17's all the way around but are any modifications needed for the deep dish wheels or are they a simple swap to change to? Right now the car just has the stock 16x8 wheels on it with 245/50R16 Potenza's.
They bolt up fine. But those really are not known for a deep dish, its more of a staggered set up, deep dish imo needs a cut down rear,nice wheels though but there nothing you should be concerned about , lots of people run them just fine,

I would consider 315's because they look great but I don't want to BFH the fender wells or anything like that. Plus I prefer to be able to rotate my tires lol.

A licensed mechanic must install deep dish rims, as the brake disk and drums are often customized to allow the rims to fit....In order to install these types of rims, it is often necessary to drill holes into the wheel hub and attach special instruments to secure the rims. These adjustments can interfere with the performance of the braking system. It is critical to your safety to ensure that the brakes function properly and can be replaced as needed....Performance tires designed to work with deep dish rims are the only tires that will fit on the rims. The installation of these tires requires a professional tire installer. These types of rims and tires are very expensive. Any damage to them during the installation process will be very difficult to repair.

Yeah I realized that shortly after I made the thread :jest hoping no one would catch it. Doesn't change the possibility of having to do the BFH or bumpstop mods though unfortunately.
I may just try getting the fronts and then buying 2 new ones from wheelsforless and tires from discounttire...of course that adds like $300 to the total cost
