Default Need Answers Please!ASAP!

Tires arent my specialty. I got a 98 V6 camaro with the factory 16 inch 5-stars. I need some new rubber, the ones i got are gettign worn out. They are Firehawks and are P235/55/R16. I was wanting to get some wit ha lower profile and it seems i have to go to down to the P215 instead of P235. Would P215/40/R16 fit on the rims i got right now. Any answers are helpful, and if u dont mind, just mention what tires u got and say if u like them or not, also. Thanks a Ton guys, since i dont know much bout tires.

Go with a 245/50/16. It's a lower profile and is a little wider, 215's would be to skinny looking.

I would have to agree with the 245s. Decreasing the tire size is not very well recommended. Especially if you like cornering....then wider is better. The 245s are going to be 25.7" tall and the 235s you have on there now should be 26.1" tall. The 215s would be 22.7". Also if its not lowered you would have one big wheel gap. Its really up to you though, just my opinion.
