Default Tire size question

So right now I have 17x9.5 with 275/40/17 on all for corners and I'm lowered on koni's and BMR 1.25 , a friend of of mine wants to buy my wheels so I figured perfect time to get 18s in the back like I've always wanted. I'm just worried will the 275/40/18 fit ok ? I took some pics and I have a lot of clearance still here are the pics. Sorry of the pics are huge I'm on my phone.

A 275-40-18 tire will be exactly 1" larger in diameter than a 275-40-17 sized one.

To keep the same tire diameter, you will need to get a 275-35-18 tire to fit your wheels. With the right offset, you won't have any clearance problems.

275/40/18 will work in the back. but it will throw your speedo off a little. just get it calibrated. I ran that size in the back for 3 years then went to 275/35/18 since its a more common tire size and I havent noticed a ride difference.

I was kind of worried about difference in ride if i went with 35 instead of 40 but the 275/35/18 are like $60 more expensive per tire than the 275/40/18. I was mainly worried about rubbing but I'm pretty positive I have a good amount of clearance
