ETs or QTPs?

ETs or QTPs? Since I don't have any traction anymore, I'm trying to decide which tire is best for my setup. I am looking at 2 right now: M/T ET Streets & Hoosier Quick Time Pros. I hear the QTPs out perform the ETs, but I can get the ETs in either 26x11.5-16 or 10.5. The QTPs only come in 10.5. I want to stay with a 26" tall tire to maintain the 3.73 gear ratio. My dilemma is will 8" of tread be enough to hold my car after I install the 3200+ converter (& maybe heads + cam) next year? Or will I need 10" then? Or will 10" be too much....will I bog launching with that much traction & only ~425rwhp? I figure either will be more than enough for now since I stll have a stock converter. (I hope to be ~365 next week).
