Chrome corrosion

Chrome corrosion I bought some aftermarket chrome zr1's and after 4 months the aluminum is off gassing pretty badly. The corrosion is pretty bad and I'm afraid that these bumps underneath of the Chrome is going to start flaking. Can anyone offer some tips on what to do to prevent the corrosion?

The same thing is happening to my C6 replica wheels. Actually they are pitting and it's a little frustrating to spend over $500 on them and have them pit.
