i am wanting to buy one of these three tires. i am wanting it to hook good on the street. I also dont wont the tire to be bald in 10,000 miles. Here is what i am looking at......

A toyo r888 315/30 18

Mickey thompson 315/30 18

nitto 315/30 18

I had nitto 555r and they didn't hook very well or last long. Got veredesteins on now and they hook better.

Out of those 3 the mickey thompsons will by far hook the best but will not last as long as the others. If you want it to last and hook the R888 is your tire. I run the mickey thompsons and they hook VERY well I dont even spin in first.

Toyo R888 is a R-spec 100 treadwear tire molded with 6/32nds of tread depth and has a stiff sidewall. Doubt they will last to long. They should hook beeter than the majority of street tires, but not up with the Mickey's

Mickey's will not last very long, will hook well.

Nitto makes a wide selection, care to narrow it down.

I've heard good things bout the NT05R tires tho. I was told they hook alot better then the 555r and last longer. I know they don't last long but my next set of tires will be M/T.
