Default new tires rubbing

I have a 02 Z06. I just bought a set of Nitto NTO5-rs for the rear. I mounted them on the stock rims. Now the tires rub on the wheel well. Is there a way to fix this other than tubbing?

Thanks

Stock tire height was 26.128 inches, you know have 28.806 in tires back there. A difference of 2.678 inches. I do not have a solution for you.

I can't beleive you also don't have major issues with TCS, ABS, and ECU codes with that tall of a tire on the back.

I agree!

Plus, with the added height and width of the tires you chose, the OE wheel isn't really wide enough to provide proper handling, and not quite the correct offset to provide clearance on the inside of the wheel house.
