tire fitment I have a camaro ss with american racing torque thrust II's on it 17x9 up front 17/10.5 in the back i know the best size tire for the back is a 315/35/17 but as some of you may know theres not many tires out there in that size I was wondering if anyone knew what the smallest tire i could stretch on them was? would maybe a 305 work?
315 is the "best"size? It's the largest recommended, but what's best is relative.
you can definitely go lower than a 305 if you want the smallest possible. I had 275's on mine for about a week as some temporary tires till my new 295's came in, they had the stretched look. The 295's actually look pretty good on there, But I'll probably do 305's for my next tires.
