Default 315/35R17 dr help?

I can't decide what drag radials to get. I currently have Nittos 555R 315/35r17 on rear but are completely bald now. Even with tread I couldn't get the nittos to hook at all. Was looking at MT Streets but I keep hearing nittos r better for dd. Thx in adv

Depends on what you really want from a drag radial. Personally I love the Toyo Proxes TQ dr. Lasted almost as long as my Nitto 555R, but hooked much better

Ditto, and for the price, their are good. If you don't mind spending the extra coin, go with the Mickeys!

So toyos hook better on the street than nittos, and are safe to drive in the rain?

My personal experience has shown that the Toyo's do hook a lot better on the street and track than the Nitto's, last almost as long, and are just as good in the rain. Being that they are actually a few bucks cheaper as well, I see no reason not to choose this tire over the Nitto. That's just my opinion...

I run the nitto like you and have no problems hooking. I made 385hp at rear tires. I heard the mt are good too.

Im running the nitto nt05r's. They work good in the rain and they hook up no problem for me. I have ran them both on my camaro and my vette. I also average about 8-10k miles out of mine
