Pitted corvette rims..
Pitted corvette rims.. I have C5 wheels on my Trans Am. I like how they look, they were on there when I bought it. However, 3 of the 4 rims have slow leaks. One tire needed to be replaced, and at that time it was found that the pitting on the rim was so bad that the pitting was causing the leak.
I was planning on selling my wheels and getting other ones, but I read somewhere on here that someone used plasti-dip to save their pitted rims... does this work? In that case I would just plasti-dip mine black and call it a day. It would save me plenty of money.
