DOT Slicks Mounting How are you guys mounting your DOT slicks?
Just lubing the bead and pushing it onto the rim and inflating?
Also are you guys running tubless?
Was reading to coat the inside of the tire with Dawn dish soap 3 times in 3 days to help with the leaking.
So what exactly is the process here?
Coat the inside of the tire 3 times in 3 days.
Lube the bead.
Push onto rim.
Inflate to?
Also when doing tire screws how do you go about doing this?
Drill the holes first.
Make sure the backside that contacts the bead is smooth.
Mount the tire.
Inflate to ? and sink the screws in?
Then deflate to the operating PSI?
