17X10 Front Wheel Offset
17X10 Front Wheel Offset For those of you running 17X10's up front on Camaros, what offset are you using? Any problems with rubbing? I'm looking to buy a set of 17X10 Smoothie 3's and just wanted to get an idea of what potential problems other people have run into and what offset those without problems are running. I've read the sticky which indicates +38mm through +48mm but would like to hear from people who have actually run this size wheel.
I searched a few threads and none really give a good idea of the offset, just what they did to make the wheels fit (spindle grinding, lower profile tires, etc). I would like to be able to rotate my tires since it will be my DD going 50mi+ each day and wanted to run the largest size up front on bfg's (285/40/17). Thanks guys, appreciate any help on this issue.
