Need Some Tire Advice
Currently in the shop awaiting parts, some of which are rims and tires.
The car is a daily driver. 10 miles each way to kids' school. 10 miles each way to work. Plus all the other typical errands, etc. No racing. Automatic.
I'm in south Florida. So, yea the pavement's either hot or wet all year.
It had Nexen when I got it, but they are very worn, so I can't say whether I liked them or not; didn't get them new.
I've always been a Goodyear guy, so I tend to go there first, but they are pricey for the size I need. I did, however find Eagle GT's (if this link is correct) http://www.walmart.com/ip/Goodyear-E...0ZR17/11983197
Are they any good these days? Definitely within my budget.
I think my 94 Formula had GA's. They were pretty good.
I've been reading threads for a few hours now. Overwhelmed enough to just post my own question.
In my searching, the ones I see come up are Nitto 555 (definitely the strangest looking one), Nexen N3000 and Toyo.
I'd like to keep it under $200 a tire. Not going for high-end performance. I need safe & reliable.
thanks
I run them in the front with mt drs in the rear in summer. I used to run all 4 and they were pretty good imo.
