Default Anyone running General Altimax HP's?

Hey guys, looking for a reasonably priced tire to run during spring/summer/fall. Have you had a set of these, and if so what's the good and bad about these tires? I have a set of dedicated winter tires so snow traction is not an issue.

Thanks Guys!

These are a good quiet tire for road crusing. They are not a Ultra high performance tire. How do you use the car? Are your a sprited driver? If not then yes the General's will be fine. If so then I would look more at a summer performance tire like the BFG Gforce Sport Comp2. Please give me a call if I can help.

It's on my daily driver to and from work. I like to kick back and cruise, but like to get on it every so often. So I would need a tire that would do more than 20k per year so I am not replacing them every 14-16 months.

They have soft sidewalls. Upside: comfortable ride, especially on rough roads. Downside: weak for cornering. In my case, great for Kansas, not for California.

You can also look at a performance all season like the Sumitomo HTR AS. Its a good balance between performance and wear.
