Chrome wheels?

Best cleaner?
I need to clean them for painting.

I usually use Noxon7 its cheap and works. Today I had extra liquid glass on my rag from doing the paint so I used that. Lots of stuffs works.

Thanks, I have another question... well 2. How much do you know about off sets? and what offset do I need for an 18X12 wheel?

Sonax is the best wheel cleaner out there. However if you are going to paint them you will need to scuff them up with either a scotch brite pad or fine sand paper.

yeah I've got a scotch brite bad and some 3000 sand paper to finish it up. Sonax at Oreillys or walmart?

You have to get Sonax online from somewhere like Autogeek or a place like that. Sonax is good because it's non acidic like a lot of wheel cleaners you can get at most auto parts stores. Acidic cleaners can stain the wheels but since you are painting them I don't that would be an issue.

soap water and a good scrub is usually enough for chrome wheels.
