Chrome wheel question

Chrome wheel question Hoping to find someone on here that deals with chroming wheels. Many of these companies say there is a 2 year warranty on that finish thats it. But when u ask if that includes being exposed to any slat they wont warranty them. they say they Sample wheels from each batch are routinely subjected to rigorous testing (i.e. salt spray) to assure the finish will be durable and look good for years to come. So aint this kinda misleading?
