Your advice please...
My 6 year old Kumho Ecsta's are getting cracked and low tread, so I'm in the market for new rubber. Due to tramlining issues, I'd like to go narrower in the front and due to traction issues, I'd like to go wider in the back. I've decided on the 18" staggered (9.5, 10.5) C6 Z06 rims from OE Wheels, and I'm really liking the Nitto Invo's.
My question is tire size.
Due to the invo's limited sizes, I'm leaning towards:
265/35/18 up front
295/35/18 in the back
The only issue I'm seeing is that the front tire would be 25.28" tall and the rears would be 26.02" tall. Do you guys think would would be an issue? Any other words of advice?

My advice is to take a tape measure and check your current diameter, and if the new setup is larger, then measure from the tire to the fender, and see if you have the room available to clear. I am unsure of the complete diameter of rims/tires you have now, but comparing the two you should be able to see if it'll at least clear the fender area.
Another thing to consider is the offset of the rims. I am by far no expert on this, so someone who knows more about offsets will need to chime in, but I believe there is a special tool rim shops use to check this but fitting it over your hub with the tire off.

Run a 305/30-18 in the rear if you can... Which is really strange size.
Btw, a lot of guys run 275/35 and 295/35 on the C5 wheels without any problems. These cars aren't Vettes and won't freak out as bad if the wheels are rotating at slightly different speeds.
