Wheel stud help
Wheel stud help So I have a problem that hopefully has an easy answer. I have a 1994 silverado with the 5x5 bolt pattern and 14mm studs. I just bought some classic cragar super star rims for the older chevy trucks which has the same 5x5 bolt pattern but uses the 1/2-rh studs. My truck currently has the hub-centric style rims, the older trucks are centered by the lug nuts instead. I am thinking I could try and install the 1/2-rh studs on my truck being that the knurl diameter is only slightly different. Does anyone have any ideas or experience with this.
