Car is an an 02 TransAm convertible that is bone stock and I want to keep it that way. Car has the optional chrome wheels ( RPO P05). The front/exterior portions are in great shape. Problem is the back section has some peeling chrome, exposing the aluminum base metal. Is there a way to stop the peeling and coat the aluminum, thereby preserving the wheel? I was thinking about Eastwoods chassis black paint, but the peeling is what concerns me.
