Default Lets see those 18' and 19' combos...

So, there are those with 18's, and those with 19's. Are there any out there that have 18's on the front and 19's on the back?

If so, post up whatcha got!

Do like!

I made this thread partially for myself, as I have ordered 18's and 19's for my Formula.

They should be on the car in a few days, and I will post up when I have mine as well.

The rear looks disproportionate because of the plus sizing of the wheel. The over all diameter stays the same. You end up with a thinner side wall on the rear, which to me looks odd. Most 17x9/17x11 combo's have this issue also.

315/35 and 275/40 tires are the exact same height and have the same sidewall? What are you talking about?

And on Vettes, the rear is usually 1" taller to make ABS and TCS happy. So the sidewalls should be about the same size given a 1" discrepancy front to rear.

Thanks a lot! I really love the look of a staggered setup. After living in the Corvette world for a while, a square setup seems to look funny to me.

What did you order?

As JakeFusion said, the overall diameter for Corvettes is actually a little bigger. If the front and rear are the same it throws off the active handling. You are right that you do have a little less sidewall in the rear (depending on what setup you run). I guess it's an acquired taste.

That's really clean. I like the dish in the rear nice choice.

What size tires did you go with?

Yeah those are Beyerns. I have the same exact wheels on my car in black. Mine are 17x9 all the way around on my wife's BMW. Paid around $1100 for them with tires so they're pretty cheap.
