Default Hamann PG3 19's, finally finished!!

Picked up a set of Hamann PG3 19's off craigslist for next to nothing and decided to "restore" them and I'm so glad I did! Here's how they started out:

The previous owner of them decided it was smart to sandblast the entire wheel but didn't even do it properly. One rim had went through a blowout and got a little chunk bent on it, couple others had a few bends and rashes. Decided to tear them apart and redo them:

Painted the barrels a bright silver, called Fine Bright Aluminum

Got the centers all prepped up:

Ended up painting the centers black and got some universal chrome center caps and inlayed a black pontiac center cap decal in them, also went with some new rim hardware from SRR:

I went with 265/35-19 on rear and 245/35-19 on front. The rims are 19x9/19x8.5

I'm so glad I went with these, all said and done I have right about a grand invested in the whole package, not bad for three-piece wheels with tires! I saw these on the 421 SD TA in silver but really love them in black! FYI, if any of you end up with a set of these, SAVE the valve stems!!! If they are usable of course (mine weren't), they use a special sized stem (hole is .34"), I had to use a bolt in Harley valve stem, standard car stems are about twice the size you need. The Harley stems work but were a tight fit with the centers. Hamann doesn't make these wheels anymore and doesn't carry stems for them so that's your only choice.

Thanks guys! Now I need to polish the car up and get some better pics lol. The PG3 is actually a 3piece wheel it turns out, the barrel is 2pieces seamless welded and the bolt in center, the PG2's had a cast one-piece barrel with bolt-in center and a non-stepped lip. They are light as hell too for 19's

That's what I was thinking! I was iffy when I first picked them up on if I should use them but so glad now. Amazingly these tires hook damn well too! I used to blow off my 315 Kumho XS's and these 265's are WAY better...and cheap too lol. Cleaned her up today but forgot the tire shine haha:

Got the car shined up and put it in my booth at Rides and Tides 2!

Sexiest booth in the show if you ask me (was filled mainly with the "stance" scene)

Did you have to get some spacers for clearance or hub-centric flanges? I have a set of PG2's on the way to put on my copy of the SD-421.

I did not have to run any spacers or flanges
