What tires for my new setup?
What tires for my new setup? Well my 305/30/19 Potenza RE-11's worked very well with my old setup on my car. Great traction, very smooth and quiet.
However, i'm looking for something else now that will hold my new setup.
I'm currently making 567rwhp/542rwtq. I'd like a tire i can drive on the street no problems and will last a fair amount of time for it's performance. I don't do any track events and don't spend much time at the 1/4 mile (at some point i would like to take it to the 1/4.) Performance is the big factor in this, i need something that is going to perform well. The car doesn't see rain so wet roads is not an issue.
A few tires I've been reading on:
Nitto Invo:305/30-19 or 315/25-19
Nitto NT05R: 305/35-19
Mickey Thompson ET Streets II: 305/35-19
Hoosier R6: 315/35Z-19

Id go with the nittos i read they are very good for the price for street applications . Im getting a set of nitto 555 extreme performance for my z.
