I said screw it and bought some oem zo6 wheels. I was always tired of waiting and feel like I was being lied to every time I called. 6+ months waiting c5 DD wheels is horrible, let alone being told itll be in every month.

Sucks to see the extent of this problem, I never come in the wheels section really so I wasn't aware. Been looking at getting some y2k wheels for the past couple months 17/18x9.5 non-riveted and they're out of stock.

Hopefully something changes by the time I'm ready to buy in a couple weeks or I'll have to start looking at alternatives.

they were supposed to be in in sept. then they were supposed to be in in oct. then they were supposed to be in 5 days ago. its holding up my build. unfortunately, OE is the only company that has this wheel the way i want it.

I am in no rush but waiting on 17x9.5 (item 6710181) deep dish c5's w/ rivets. In NYC I want the sidewall lol. Unfortunately, the web site shows the worst angle for the display pic.

I phoned once and asked someone for a better photo emailed to me...simple...smart phone, email address...boom and done. But...nope...the guy on the other end said that's the best they can do...basically not wanting to provide a potential customer with requested service. The photos are crap...you can't see the actual detail of the color or texture of the finish. They need a course in customer service.

I feel like I should speak up here. A few days ago, I posted on here regarding a not so pleasant experience I had while ordering wheels from OE. I was only a few days away from ordering some TT2s when I decided to give Steve from OE a call and give him the chance to make it up to me. And that's exactly what he did. Over the next few days we called and emailed back and forth and it was immediately apparent that he was going to do whatever he could to make it right and keep me as a customer. Keep in mind, I had never ordered anything from them before and my order was >$500 after shipping. Long story short, I have 4 C5 DD Black w/Machined lip 18X10.5 wheels on their way to me that should be here a week from Monday. Now they did make the initial mistake and I do think they need to keep better track of their inventory and their website but they took that mistake and used it as an opportunity to impress me and they did. I would suggest giving Steve a call and see what he can do for you. Of course if you have one exact style, color, and size of wheel that you want, you may just have to wait or change your mind. You just have to decide what's more important, getting exactly what you want and waiting for it or compromising and choosing another awesome looking wheel and being able to get it now.

If I could do 10.5 I would, but that is too wide for the wheels on my build, especially for the front. They do have 17 and 18 in a 10.5 I believe. I don't care which color or finish as I will be powdercoating whatever I get. I just need a staggered 17/18 x9.5 set non-riveted.

For all the frustrated. www.FinishLineWheels.com has a lot of the same choices and quite a few that OE doesn't carry, some you probably have never seen on an FBody,, colors, sizes etc. Also they have the best set of black ZR1's in my opinion as I have owned a set and they are of excellent quality. Prices are a little higher but who cares when you want them now and not 6 months from now. Also check out www.WestCoastCorvette.com as they have a decent selection. Happy Hot Roddin'

Looks great. Hows the fitment in the rear?

Most likely going to get used wheels as well.

argh, BLACK CHROME CTSV replicas would be awesome if there were at least 18 x 9.5 and not just 18 x 8

Ive bought from both and OE is the one who sent me wheels with problems with the finish. So as the old saying goes you get what you pay for. And unlike a lot out there yes I paid more but I rolled all summer long on what I wanted. Good Luck with OE.

Yes they are 12s and took about an hour of work with the bfh mod to fit them. I love them.

I think it's time we find another company that can deliver on wheels. OEWheels has been dropping the ball for a very long time now. I seen OEWheels selling wheel styles on eBay that don't exist on their website. Like this style right here.....
