Default Rims peeling

I have the stock WS6 chrome rims on my 99. The clear is starting to peel. How do I go about removing it so I can polish and make them shine like new again? Any help would be great Ty in advance.

Aircraft stripper will take off the clear coat. From there you can use any good metal polish on them.

They are not chrome, they are polished aluminum with a clear coat. As mentioned above, you can strip and re-polish and then re-clear to restore the appearance.
