So I curbed my front wheel the other day at the bank.
It made the most horrible sound, and looked even worse.
Afterwords I went to the store and bought some sand paper and polish to see what I could do to make it look better. It actually turned out better than I thought. Not by any means perfect, but I can deal with it for now.

I started with 180 grit and finished with 1500 and a polish. It really wasn't that hard to do. Just do most of the shaping with the 180, and use the finer grits to remove scratches. I didn't want to remove too much material since the lip is round, so I had to leave the deeper scratches alone.

Thats a good idea you had with using the sandpaper. It looks much better. Thanks for the idea!! Im gonna have to try it out now on mine.

ah i have the same problem, on the SS the 35th LE wheels have it on one. and my mom curbed the vette. I can see the vette would be easy to use with sanding, but the LE wheels have some weird pattern, they aren't chromed....anybody got any ideas?
