Default Leaking Wheel

So my car has a leaking wheel. You read that right, wheel, not a tire. It's a slow leak from a small pinhole and will lose about 3-4 psi over 24 hours. I bought some silicone tape supposedly durable up to "700 psi" and I'm planning to stick a strip over the hole on the inside when I get some new tires mounted. I've also heard of using solder or epoxy, but the tape seems the easiest. Any opinions? Thanks!

I would get that welded up if possible...if not I'd probably stop running those wheels, but I'm a little ocd.

GE makes a product called 'Glyptal', that is an excellent sealing product. I believe that Eastwoods sells it in spray cans, which you could use, to apply a coat on the entire inner surface of your wheel.
