Drag slicks

Anyone know how tall and wide of a tire I can fit underneath of my 97 TA?

Depends on how much work you want to do and what tire.

A 28"/10.5" tire will fit fine, maybe with a little BFH mod.

So how wide of wheels and what backspace should I use for easiest install?

A stock car uses a 7.5" backspace on a 15x10 wheel like a lot of people run for drag setups.

Don't take my word for it, there are plenty of posts on it in this section.

make sure the tire size you select is optimal for your gearing
