Default Bought the wrong wheels, NEED HELP

Okay so unfortunately there was some mis communication and I purchased the wrong wheels. I was under the assumption I had a rear end shortned 3" per side not 3" overall. So now Im stuck with a set of RTS 15x10 w/ a 4.5 bs.

The problem is Weld doesnt offer a 6.00 BS in the RTS. Since my rear is shortned 1.5 per side what BS should I get, 5.50 with a 1/4" spacer or 6.50?

Any help is greatly appreciated,

7.5 bs is ideal for a stock length rear, so if you're rear is shortened by 1.5" each side, ideally, you'd have a 6.0 bs, but I don't see why a 5.5 bs wouldn't work.

Have you mounted the wheels up just to see? They may not be terrible.

Once the rear end gets center I'll see but the one side sits flush and the other side sticks about half way out. Not my liking though

I think you're in trouble, because if one side is already flush with the fender, and the other side is a few inches out, centering the rear axle will "split the difference", and you'll have both sides out by a little bit. As "Phoenix" said, a half inch SHOULDN'T make a big difference, but in your case it just might.

Before you mount the tires, can you send the wheels back for an exchange?

Yeah, most places will allow you to return them as long as you haven't mounted tires on them. Pretty sure I've seen that statement on many of boxes of wheels I've seen.

In all honesty though, if you can get the rear centered and each side sticks out 1/2", it won't look that bad. But, that's your call.

Well my Stupid self already had them mounted, I guess I'll make that call when I center the rear. Just was trying to get my info straight so if I have to, I can order new ones

Well, like I said, it may look fine. Just mount them, try and get the rear 100% centered, lower her back down, and step back and take a good long look from different angles. I highly doubt it will look that bad. Worst case scenario is you'll have to sell them, which I'm sure you'll get most of your money back.
