Default Fitting weld rts wheels

Im wanting to get a some weld rts wheels for my 98 ws6. I have qa1 adjustable suspension. I looking at the 15"x 10". I've read I need to get the ones with 7.5" backspacing. I like the look of deep dish wheels better. Was wondering if any of the ones with shorter backspacing will fit without rubbing the outer lip. If not if I roll the fenders will that gain me enough room? If that still doesn't what about raising the suspension higher? Was going to go with MT street et 295/55-15 or maybe 315/60-15. Thanks in advance.

Not unless you narrow the rear end.

Ya that's kinda what I figured but thought I might check. Would I be able to get by with the 6.5" backspacing? Or absolutely stick with 7.5" backspacing? Midwest wanna send me a pm with a quote for these wheels 15" x 10" rears and 17" x 9" for the fronts.

You may be able to get by with 6.5" backspacing, but why chance it when you know that 7.5" is ideal and will work.

Ya pretty much agree since there is no good answer for a 6.5". Thanks for the ideas pretty much solidified what I figured.

I would just get the 7.5 wheel with a stock length rear end. Unless you just like it sticking out that far which I'm sure you don't. But heck, while your ordering wheels just go ahead and order a narrowed rear while your at it and get what you really want. Wife won't mind, it's your gift to yourself. Lol
