1/2 wheel spacer?

Finally got to installing s60 narrowed 3 inches and rt-s 15x10.275 w/295/55r15s 5.5 bs....question is I have fully adjustable suspension and bump stop cut flush, I can barely put my finger between the tire and inner wheel well around bump stop. I already have a 1/4 spacer installed. I'm unsure if that gap is enough for suspension articulation? Or should I get a 1/2 spacer to be sure. The best would have been a 5 backspace which isn't offered

is the rear end shortened 3" per side or overall
