Default Help Me Identify These ARE Wheels

Can anyone help me to identify these wheels? They were on my 94 z28 when I purchased , and I have tried searching everywhere that I can think of. They are 16" and wearing 245/50r16s.

Thanks in advance!

Have you removed them and looked on the back of them?

Ahh! No, I hadn't thought to do that. I checked the outside of the rim for any model number or serial number casting, but I didn't see anything. It never occurred to me to look on the inside of the rim.

I'll take a look when I take my front driver's side wheel off to inspect and repair what I suspect is a frozen caliper.

Thanks!

They're ARE 205s. 16x8", with a 35 MM offset. They were available "aftermarket" through ARE, with the ARE logo in the centers, such as pictured, or also available through GM dealers, with either a Chevy or Pontiac logo in the center cap, for Camaros and Firebirds.

Sorry I never replied to this. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!

So it looks like these were the ones ordered from ARE after the fact. Other than the picture that you posted, I had never seen them before. Are they rare?

Thanks again.

I bought mine after I got the car. I hated the OE "salad shooter" wheels, and would have opted for these ARE wheels from the factory, if they were available at the time I ordered the car. I ordered my car in early September of 1995, and I believe they became available at the beginning of 1996. I guess you could say that they are somewhat rare, as I believe that ARE produced them for only 2-3 years, so they went out of production around 1999. Besides the ones I had, I think I saw only 1-2 other sets....
