Default What do you think?

I used a Vacation day today to keep a doctors appointment and was sitting around the house bored. Decide to see what one of the 19" wheels of the Corvette would look like on my Z28.

What do you think....yes or no?

Sorry not a fan of really any 19 or 20 inch rim on these cars. 17 or 18 look much better IMO

I agree completely. To me, 18" is the absolute largest diameter that can look good on these cars.

I think you guys are right. I'm thinking even with an 18" wheel I would probably need to lower the car a little.

Another thumbs down. I've seen 18's that I like, but 17's are the largest I prefer on these cars.

if you had an 18 on the front and the car was lowered I think it could work, but as said above 18's are the max size I would go on a 4th gen. also might look better as a 5 spoke than the 6

This here. I've seen alot of 18s that do look good if right wheel and stance. But you can't go wrong with a 17. Never know until you tried tho. Know u know.
15s with a fatty slick and skinny up front is badass goes without saying tho.

I vote that OEM C6Z wheels with the 19x12's on the back look absolutely awesome on a Gen4.

I am traditionally not a fan of bigger than 18's on Fbody's and pre-05 Mustains though. I'm also typically not a fan of staggered wheels on both those cars as well but oddly enough a Fbody with OEM C6Z's pulls the staggered look off. It doesn't look great to me with OEM C5Z's unless you run the 18's on all 4 corners. To much sidewalls on the fronts of a 17/18 staggered setup to look very good IMO.

I agree on both counts. 17s always work, while 18s have to be just the right wheel and just the right stance. Anything bigger.....no thanks.

The big & little 15s always look great to me too.

I agree with your statement when you're talking about the type of wheels OP has; as a matter of fact, any OE wheels. 19" and 20" setups look killer on 4th gen F-Body cars, but they need to be wheels like CCW, True Forged, etc. I know because I owned a set of 19"/20" CCW 505a's that looked damn good on my WS6, and even better on Furious' white WS6.

If the car was lower it would look OK. Not a fan of huge wheels but if the stance is correct they CAN look good on a 4th gen, several members have done this correctly. Def not the worst vette wheel I've seen.

All just a matter of opinion I guess. I've seen some of the 19" or 19/20" staggered combos that some members here seem to love, and all I can think about is how much better they would look in a smaller diameter. Most of those custom type wheels on lowered cars look MUCH better in an 18" diameter. Just my preference.

I believe that lowered Trans Ams can very easily pull off 19's.

These are my old wheels that I sold to Furious1. They look better on his ride because at the time I had them on my WS6, my car was not lowered.

Phoenix, that is probably one of the sharpest 19" wheels that I've seen on these cars, but I have to agree with RPM WS6 on this one that it would look even better in 17" or 18".

Its just like what exhaust sounds best...no wrong answer...just purely personal preference

Oh, I totally get it. Everyone's opinion is going to be different on the matter. No issue with that. And that particular setup that I had and sold was a 19" front and 20" rear. I believe a 18" front and 19" rear would look killer too.
