Bias Ply Tires help needed
Hello,
I have an M6 firebird making 400 to the wheels with a stange s60 4.10 gears. My suspension sucks but I'm working on it. My question is about bias ply tires. I just bought some Weld RTS 15x10 f body specific and I don't know if I should go drag radial or bias ply. I dont have front runners, for now I'll be running the stock 17X9 ws6 rim with a street tire, hence my question. Can I swap out the rear street tires ( stock rim) with the bias ply tires (Weld 15" rim)once I get to the track and run with the front street tires? Or is it a must to get front skinnies?
I get that you're not suppose to mix bias ply and radials but is that for street/highway or does that also apply to using that mix at the track?
