Default Ws6 wheel refinishing

Hey guys. Yes, I know there are a million threads on this but not of the images are still there. I am going to be refinishing my Speedline WS6 wheels this weekend and wanted to see not only some before and after pictures of some sets you have done. But, I am mostly concerned about clear coating. I know I can leave them bare, but 1. How often will have to re-polish the wheels? 2. Will this damage the wheels? Like leave them stained and such? and 3. What are the options of getting them re-cleared? Powder coating is out because I can't have the car down that long. Is there a aerosol application? Or bush on? Thanks ahead guys!

My friends shop powder coats rims in 2 days. Thats too long?

I looked into what you want years ago with my factory WS6 aluminum rims. I was told by many professional polishing shops that I would need to do a quick hand polish every few months to keep them looking perfect.

One of those shops in my city would take the car and professionally polish all 4 rims for $80.00. They have the tools, wheels, buffers...whatever.....they do it quick. 4 hours. Every 3-4 months....$80.00 to have them maintained by a professional shop and they look like mirrors.....is peanuts......well worth $80.00.

Well it's mostly a time and price thing. Considering I would have to go get all four tires dismounted then powder coated then go and get all four remounted it would take a bit of time not considering some places want 10 to $20 just to Dismount a tire. And $80 isn't bad, I just didn't know how long you could go in between polishes obviously I didn't want to be polishing my wheels once a week or anything at that point it would be worth the fork out the money to go get them powder coated.

Hell, you could go a full year between professional polishing. They would look like new eacvh year you did it and look great all year long.
