Default Jegs spiker wheels installed

figured this would be good for search engine reasons.

car is lowered. 17x7 4” BS, 225/50 front. 15x10 5.5 BS, 325/50 tire. Rear end is 4” narrowed from stock. Moser 12 bolt. Turned out pretty good. Front need to be raised a touch to keep it from rubbing. Rear needs a little more massaging to the fender lips. But, very pleased with the way the car looks.

Any brake rubbing with 17x7 up front? Im considering trying 15x4 4"bs up front to run a 205 tire.

Wow. That looks like a beast. Did you have to put tubs in the rear or is the narrowed rear end just to accommodate the setback of the wheels?

Let me know how they work out traction and how long they last on the street. I've been seriously eying these for my car. The Hoosiers don't last long on the street and without doing a burnout they are pretty worthless anyways.

Only rubbingis due to the car being so low. Hitting dips in the road, I can hear the tire scrub the fender well.

I cut the bump stops out. But, I installed a rear that I already had laying around in a third gen. So knew the offset would change to keep the wheel in the correct location. Looks bad *** like that. 15x10 with stock rear needs a 7.5 back spacing. This rear is -2 per side, so 7.5 minus the 2” made it 5.5 back spacing. I did beat the **** out of the inner fender wells and roll the fender lips.

These last a while, hook better than a regular street tire, but cannot hook like a real drag radials or slick.they even perform admirably in the rain.

got my *** drug by a LS1 on a 100 shot last night, twice. I couldn’t mat the gas. Tried to roll in and the bitch would hit second and then have to down shift back to first. I didn’t think I was gonna be racing last night so didn’t put the ET drags on the car. Lol

Thank you sir! It’s the prettiest TA I have owned to date. Lowest mileage as well(52k). Probably my nicest F body but not the fastest. Lol. Yet.

Thanks gentlemen. The car is super low in the front, so some 1” spacers are going under the front strut to get the bastard off the ground. It bottoms out and scrapes everywhere. A speed bump is not a option.

I know this is and old thread, but did you have any issues running a 17x7 with 4" backspacing? I figured with that backspacing it puts you right at the fender.
