I was curious as to whether or not any one here knows what tires their Z28 came with originally. Mine still has the original 235/55-16s on it, but I thought those tires were only for the v-6 cars. Didn't Z28s have the 245/50-16s on them from the factory? Just figured I'd throw this one out and see if I can get an answer. Thanks guys.

 

hmmm, yeah i thought the 245/50's were standard on the Z28's and Z-rated tires were an option???

The P235/55 R16 were standard equipment. The wider tires were optional, and added something like $250.00 to the sticker price of the vehicle.

My Z-28 has the same tires as yours.

 

Well that's good to hear. I have a stripper just like yours, except mine is red.

 

Mines a 1LE and came with the 245/50 ZR 16 Goodyear Eagle GSC tires.
