Drag slick question. I got a new motor in the car. Need some slicks now to hook.
Looking at hoosiers.
Which compound?
D05 Soft Compound
C07 Medium Compound
screw them to the rims or not???
Would hate to screw up the bogarts.

Soft compound would be a "track only" slick. The harder compound would work a little better if you planned on sneeking out to the street once in awhile. But I know alot of people that run any compound they want on the street...though the soft compounds get packed really quickly.
I run Bogart D10's, and did not screw my ET Streets to the rim. It fealt like a sin just to think about doing that. However, I do plan on ordering another set of 15 X 10's for track only use, that will tubed, and screwed with Hoosiers.

Thank you. I will get the softer compound hoosiers. I ordered another set of bogarts too. Just so I can keep the quick time pros for street class at the track and the slicks for best times and better hooking.
