Default Weld RTS S-71 help

Happy new year all!! Looking at getting some S-71’s ordered soon. Want to stick with a 17” but, have a dilemma. I don’t really want to step to an 11” on the rear. Have there been many people run a 17x9.5 and 17x10 combo? Not sure if trying that versus 17x9.5 with a bit less offset would be worth the trouble or not. Just looking for some insight.

What’s the concern with an 11” wide wheel?

The 11’s in the rear is really the way to go on an fbody. Just fits so much nicer and looks more proportional with the bigger lip in the rear.

im running 18x11 rear with 18x10 in the front which is a pretty aggressive setup with 295f/315r 888’s but it just looks killer.

Didn't really want to battle with hammering the fender or rolling the lips for a 315. I know it’s not following the trend but, I’m kinda leaning towards a squared setup.

SCJ, what are the specs on your rims...custom offset or straight out of Welds catalog? Love the colour of your car!

square setup is the way to go on these cars IMO. I'm running 18x10.5 RTS's on all 4 corners of my car with 295/35 NT05 tires and love it. i rotate the wheels every season and get about 3 or 4 seasons out of a set. FWIW anything over a 275 in the rear you'll have to roll the fenders and/or do a little BFH on the inner fenders (if lowered), the front will fit a 315 without any work at all

18x11 +43
