What's the biggest tire I can run on the front of my 1999 Camaro without problems or lots of work?
I currently have 265/35R18's running on 18x9.5 ET32 rims. But I'm having clearance issues with the new CTS-V brake callipers (hitting the inside of the rim). So I'm looking at changing rims. And I don't know if I should chance another 18" rim or consider 19" rims, the latter guaranteeing more clearance for the brakes.
you should be able to run 18's with CTS-V brakes. sounds like your offset is way off on those 18x9.5's, maybe just try a spacer to get you closer to a 40-50mm offset range, so a 10mm spacer or so would get you in that range. 275's came stock on most 98-02 fbodies so personally i wouldn't run anything smaller than that on the front of these cars, i am running 295/35/18's on all 4 corners of my car
