245 for Z06?

245 for Z06? Hi, I want some c6 Z06 replica's but I cannot find the right tire. I have had multiple tire shops around town recommend 245 to 275 for the tire. Will a 18 inch rim with 8.5 inch width work? It's for a 2000 T/A. Thanks!
245/40/18 is only 0.08" difference from the stock 245/50/16 as far as total wheel/tire height is concerned. It'll fit on an 18x8.5's rim just fine... You need at least a 9" wide rim to step up to a 275/35/18..
