Default A little help with dimensions please

Gentlemen,
I'm trying to figure this all out, but I think I'll need some help. I found a beautiful set of Boyd Coddington wheels I really like and they are just barely in my price range. I'd like to get a 17x8 in front and a 17x10 in the rear. Now if my intent is to run 245-45-17's in front, and 315-35-17's in the rear, what offsets do I order for these wheels? I read the sticky post above, but I just don't think I'm 100% sure what I'm doing. Any help is much appreciated. - Tom

Depends on the wheel. Most generally a 44-52mm offset.

Tom,
Why would you want to run 245's in the front? When you can get 275's - 315's to fit. Besides I think it would handle funny with 315's in the back using this combo.

And another thing to consider, you will have a hard time selling the wheels in the future if you decided to resell them.

Just my 2 cents,
Kevin

P.S. I am running 315's all around with Fikse Profil 10's

Default Thanks Kevin

The only reason is because the wheels come in a 17x8 and then it jumps up to 17x10, there isn't a 17x9 so I figured I'd have to go down to a 245. Any suggestions? - Tom

How about 17x10 all around with 285's. This way you could still rotate the tires to get extra miles out of them. Just FYI...the max backspacing you can go on the fronts is 7.5" - 7.625"
