Default CCW classics

found a set of these for a real good price. Corvette fitment. Front is 18x 10. Rear is 18 x 12!!! The problem is, it’s missing one front rim. Is there a place that sells parts for these rims so I can piece together a replacement for the missing rim??? And would the 18 x 12 fit on a 2002 trans am?? Thanx.

VR wheels sells inner and outer lips for these… I’m thinking of converting my 17s to 18”

BTW.. let me know how those 12’s fit. Depending on your offset you may need a large spacer.

Thanx for the link to VR. Where would I find the face of the rim. The seller only has one front. I would have to put one together from part I guess??

if you can find a used 17” ccw classic, the rim centers are the same for the 18” version. The 18” uses double step inner and outer lip. The 17” version have single step lips. Have you tried to contact ccw. Only they will have the center to sell.

that's good info that the 17 and 18 uses the same center, its unfortunate bc then you cant run 14 inch rotors with a 18inch ccw classic which sucks . But thanks for that heads up

OH NO WAY!!!!!!! That’s exactly what im
planning to do this winter. Have all the parts already, just looking for some cool rims that don’t cost 6 billion dollars. Thank you so much for mentioning this point. I was agonizing over these rims and now I can totally let them go.

Do you know this as fact or just assuming they won’t clear the double step? I was searching for that exact info and couldn’t find a sure answer. I thought the corvette guys are able to run 18”ccw up front on a 14” rotor.

Also changes my mind trying to convert these to 18’s if that’s true. Was planning the same as I already have the 12.6” brembo upgrade on the fronts.

I’m at the edge of my seat waiting for the final verdict on this fitment.

CCW made Classics in Z06 fitment. Not sure how much bigger those ZL1 calipers are.

Finding a replacement center is usually pretty difficult. Probably better off looking for a complete wheel. As long as the center is a 30 bolt center you can either make it a 17 or 18". I have 17x12 on the rears of both my firehawk and z28. They are both 9" barrels and 3" lips. If those are c5 specific wheels that 18x12 is probably gonna use a 10" barrel which is gonna hit the inner tub.

Ok, now we are getting somewhere. So they are off a Vette and they rear is 18 by 12. So will the fit the rear of my CETA with out rubbing and with out rolling the fenders? And when you say the inner hub, can you elaborate on that a bit.

The fronts are 18 by 10. Will these fit ok with out rubbing and will my 6 pot brembos fit in there?

thank you for your awesome info.

You will need to clearance the inner fender/tub at the front of the wheel using a big hammer or sledge cause it will rub. Rolled fenders are a must or you will cut your tires up especially if you are lowered. Fronts will depend on how wide the barrel is. Too wide and it will hit the spindle. my 10" fronts are 2" lips and 8" barrels. As far as clearing your big calipers that is probably going to take a big spacer. Unless they were initially ordered to clear big brakes the spokes wont be concave enough to clear.

Ok thanks. I guess my CCW dreams have died a BFH death lol. Such beautiful rims but I’ll have to pass. Thanx for all the great info. Cheers.

I don’t see why your ccw dreams have to die. Just look for some that aren’t corvette sizing. If you want the look but don’t need all the meat than a 9.5” is all you need. As long as you BS is close to 5.5”. Those will clear front and back no problem, no BFH mod. Problem is 18” ccw classics are hard to come by. If it was a complete set you could easily buy 2 inner barrels and convert the 12” to 10” or less.
