how difficult was it to fit the drag style Venturas in the rear. I've been contemplating this setup while looking for new wheels. I'm still using a staggered c5 z06 set I bought from Tomzwheels over 15 years ago and it's time for a change.
please share more photos. I'm not certain I like the curve the venturas 5 star pattern takes which is why ive been leaning towards c5 deep dish or ESR Wheels.
they are not drag style that I know of, just regular ol' venturas. wish the rears were available in a 18" with the 4.25" back. the 17x11 with the 4.25" backspacing only comes in 5x5 bolt pattern. I had the rear axles setup with dual bolt patterns, ovaled the lug holes in the rotors with a die grinder (took 5 min per side), narrowed the rear 3.5" per side and rolled the fender lips...done.
low pad rts wheels look the best but will not clear the factory front brakes. so the curved spokes are par for the course unless you want a flat faced wheel like the c5's.
c5 wheels suck....even on a c5.
and c5 zo6 wheels suck the hardest because everybody had them on everything in 2005.
