99 TA wheel question
I have a 99 Trans Am that is basically completely stock and eventually I will be getting a set of the year one snowflake wheels for it. I don't know much about wheels and tires and I'm wondering if I will have to modify anything to get these to fit on my car and I would like to do a wider tire on the rear but not sure what size to get or what will fit.

I have no help for you as far as your questions BUT are you sure you want those style wheels? My hands ache just looking at all the cleaning required for each wheel. So many nooks and crannies to clean, even if you have all the tools and brushes necessary.

The +3mm offset is not going to work for a 4th gen.
For reference, the factory 17x9" wheel had an offset of +50mm. You can go more aggressive than that (into the +40s is fine...maybe even 30s for the rear), but not all the way out to a +3mm, especially not in front.

i am running 18x10 +38 offset Cosmis wheels on all 4 corners with 295/35/18 tires. fronts rub the liner at full lock but i cant even hear it. im also lowered. didnt roll fenders. point being make sure you get the right offset and 17s will fit fine if my 18s fit fine.
those wheels will look great. heres a pic of a black trans am with them. 17x9.
