Mt ET street winter storage I am about to store my car for the winter and have a tire question. I am running MT Et Streets on the rear, and does everyone who stores the car jack it up for long storage times to keep the tires from flat spotting, or just leave them on? Or do you completely remove them and put just regular tires on?

My winter storage procedure.
Fill tank with 93 oct
Change oil
Pump tires to 38psi and park on furniture pads, I lay them out under the vehicle for insulation.
Plug in battery tender
Car cover
never had flat spots with my MT ET street radials. I live where it gets very cold.

For a soft tire, especially bias ply and/or a dedicated competition tire, I would likely remove them and store the car on an alternate set of wheels. If you choose to jack the car up, make sure to load the suspension. Don't let things dangle all winter, this is not a natural state for the suspension.
Otherwise, I agree with the method of airing the tires up to max rated PSI (usually 44-52psi for the Z-rated tires I have owned) and parking on some sort of soft material (I use rubber backed carpeting, to block moisture under the whole car and give some cushion to the tires). I've had no issues with any permanent flat-spotting either, but I haven't personally done this with an ET Street.

If it gets close to freezing in your garage, take them off and store them somewhere warmer. My MT's come off and go in the basement every winter, front tires I leave on the car since they are a non competition tire.
