Ws6 Trans Am 18x11 Offset
I am looking at a set of Rocket Racing Flare wheels. Trying to decide the perfect offset for the rear with an 18x11. They have +51 or +36. I would really love to avoid the BFH mod or cutting the bump stops especially since my WS6 has 39k original miles. I am willing to roll the quarter lips just slightly enough to not cause any deformation on the outside. If it helps, I will be running a 295 and not a 315. I am lowered on bmr springs. From my research, +51 will definitely require the BFH mod. Will +36 stick out too much? I do not want them to stick out past the edge of the quarter panel. I would like it to stay very flush. Pictures of similarly offset wheels help a lot. For the front I was reading that 18x9 +13 would stick out too much, but I found someone with 19x9.5 +20 (basically identical "front space") and his wheels look super flush so I'm sticking with that for the front. I also have the option to run a 1/4 spacer on the +51 that would put me around the equivalent of +44-45, however I've read some people still did the BFH mod with that offset but they were running 315s.
What do you guys think? With a 295, should I run +51 with a 1/4 spacer or +36??

Someone posted this in another thread, this should help.
