Wheels, ET specific question
I base my knowledge on link I paste below, and I have one specific question about ET. If My car can fit 10 inch wheel with ET38, than why would it not fit 8 inch wheel with ET35? This 8" ET35 would have more clearance either from the suspension side (28,5mm more space) and front of the wheel (22,5mm deeper). I just found some random ET wheel calculator. In theory 10" ET38 wheel would stick out the same, as 8" ET13 (not that i would buy it). So why the link below states that wheels ranging 8 to 10 inches should all be at least ET38? I am asking this question, because here in EUROPE it is hard to find american wheels, but I found really nice looking wheels of size 17" 8j ET35 front and 17" 9j ET35 rear. Also they are 5x120, instead od 5x120.65, but I have 5x120 wheels on my car currently and I ran at least 20 000 km on them without issues.
