quick question on tire size

quick question on tire size i got stock 16s with the 245/50 rsa's on them still, i can get a pretty good deal on some comp ta somethin or others, but they are 245/45.
Will that cause any problems? Its just a shorter sidewall right? So my speedo will be off some, but i can deal with that. Thanks in advance for any info.

Speedo will be off due to a change in overall diameter
