Suggestions on tires

Suggestions on tires I'm having 17" Z06 wheels mounted on the front soon and I need sugg. on tires for them, size 275/40 17.
My car is not a daily driver anymore, but when it does go out its normal street driving, with frequent "spirited" runs. It's not an autoX car and it sees the drag strip occasionally. I'm looking for a tire that will have decent life, bite nice, and look nice. All help appreciated!!

way too many factors play in...price is one...depends on how much bite you want too...but for a street tire (no drag radials) i would say bfg kd's will work best...however they are not cheap
