Stock 17" rim question...
285= 11 1/4 inches
285mm=28.5cm=11.25 inches...and my statement was 1 inch more rubber than WHEEL is just about right..no need for more...so 17x10 needs 285(11 1/4)40(?) 17...yes nittos are skinnier than most...but who says tthey like nittos...i personally dont like em that much...so yeah..hopefulkly you understand wghat im saying

i dont like nittos much myself either, but ALOT of people do..and i deffinitely would not use the 'reccomended' 11" wheel with those if i was to use them instead

i didnt have to hammer anything, they fit perfectly with no rubbing even under hard/fast cornering
the nittos are quite a bit skinnier than these and other brands, like BFG etc
IMO they would be ideal with a 10'' rim, regardless of what they "reccomend"
i dont have my rims yet...workin up the cash...have my mods planned out b4 hand...everything drawn out and everything...im set

someone measured and they were like .75'' wider than goodyear 275's
i disagree that you need an 11'' wheel for a 285 tire, thats ridiculous...theres no need for that width, and especially the added weight
