i agree...
i dont like nittos much myself either, but ALOT of people do..and i deffinitely would not use the 'reccomended' 11" wheel with those if i was to use them instead

i have 11'' wheels with goodyear GS-D3's which are pretty freakin wide

i didnt have to hammer anything, they fit perfectly with no rubbing even under hard/fast cornering
the nittos are quite a bit skinnier than these and other brands, like BFG etc

IMO they would be ideal with a 10'' rim, regardless of what they "reccomend"

315's on 10" rims is 2 inches larger...you dont want it that darn big...285 is nearly perfect...they way it seems is an 1nch more rubber then wheel..285=11 1/4 inches of rubber...thats definitely a wide enough tire...and 295=11.5inches of rubber the best seems to be 1 inch to a hair over...definitely not 2+ inches more then the rim...315's willc ause rubbing issues most likley...10" rims have an offset made specifically so the tires will fit and not rub at all...so please go 285 and if you REALLY want wider...(i dont reccomend it) 295...hands down case closed...

i dont have my rims yet...workin up the cash...have my mods planned out b4 hand...everything drawn out and everything...im set

like i said, NITTOS...go measure them compared to goodyear or bfg's
someone measured and they were like .75'' wider than goodyear 275's

i disagree that you need an 11'' wheel for a 285 tire, thats ridiculous...theres no need for that width, and especially the added weight
